Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fortaris's Ops Control platform (the "Service"), operated by Fortaris ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Ops Control provides AI agents that perform tasks on your behalf (research, writing, code, analysis, reporting, and similar work), using third-party AI models and integrations described in our Privacy Policy. Some features depend on you connecting third-party accounts (e.g. Google, Stripe), and those services have their own terms, which also apply.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity under your account, including actions your AI agents take.
• One account per organization; don't share login credentials across separate businesses.

3. Plans, limits, and billing

Each plan has an agent count and a monthly run limit, shown on your Settings and Admin pages. We may suspend or throttle usage that exceeds your plan's limits. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break the law, or direct an agent to generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, or infringing.
• Send spam, or use the email/calendar integrations to harass or deceive recipients.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Upload data you don't have the right to share (e.g. via the document/knowledge base features).

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the content you upload and the output your agents generate. You grant us a license to process that content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to the third-party AI/integration providers listed in our Privacy Policy). We don't claim ownership of your business data, contacts, or revenue records.

6. Third-party AI output

Agents are powered by third-party AI models and can make mistakes. Verify important output (financial figures, legal or medical content, anything sent externally) before relying on it. We're not liable for decisions made based on unverified AI-generated content.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to the Service or other users. You may cancel at any time from Settings or by contacting us; your data is retained for a reasonable period after cancellation and then deleted on request.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from third-party service outages (AI providers, Google, payment processors, hosting) outside our control.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
